School Breakfast Programs
School breakfast and snack programs encourage healthy eating, ensure students come to class prepared to learn, and support positive nutrition habits which help improve academic achievement.
Each week, over 600 school staff and community volunteers provide 24,000 breakfasts or snacks to 8,000 students, free of charge. Programs are also supported by government funding, local donations, fundraising, and support from provincial and national organizations.
