Pesticide Vendor Inquiry

The classification, sale, use of pesticides in Prince Edward Island are regulated by the Pesticides Control Act and Regulations

All pesticides are classified according to the toxicity and intended use of the product. Only licensed vendors with certified sales staff are permitted to sell pesticide products classified as non-domestic pesticides or controlled-purchase domestic pesticides

Anyone who purchases a non-domestic (commercial) pesticide must be certified or hold a valid pesticide purchase permit for the product they are purchasing. Pesticide vendors are responsible for recording the certification information on every pesticide sales receipt. A licensed vendor may log in to the Pesticide Vendor Inquiry below to access the purchaser’s current certification information.

The new pesticide inquiry service is now available.  In order to access the new tool, an account will need to be created. If you or members of your organization need an account, email us at depteeca@gov.pe.ca. You will need to provide the following for EACH person who will access the service: 

1. Email Address
2. First Name
3. Last Name
4. Company Name
 
An email with instructions to access the new service will follow after you send the registration details to the above mentioned email.
